Broad moulded trim forming a waist below the fall front. The base section with two over two drawer formation and moulded frame sat in between. The drawers veneered to match the top section with herringbone banding. Moulded plinth to the base with bun feet below and walnut veneers to the sides of the escritoire. The fall front opening to form a large useable writing surface with inset black leather to the centre. The back of the interior fully fitted with a selection of drawers and a row of pigeon holes across the top; each pulling out to reveal concealed compartments behind. Cupboard to the centre of the interior with a further set of drawers. Decorative pear drop brass fittings and complementing lock escutcheons. Superb rich colour with a deep polish throughout and presented in excellent unaltered condition. Keep up to date via our Instagram channel - sturmansantiques.
