A Handsome George III Scottish Longcase Clock by William Mcewan of Auchterarder

Description

A lovely quality George III mahogany longcase clock. Circa 1800. The painted arched dial has both date and seconds hands and the hood is topped with a swan neck pediment surmounted with gilt finials. The movement runs for eight days, striking the hours on a bell. The richly coloured mahogany case is in a good and original condition. It measures 222cm (87½") high, 46cm (18") wide and 21.5cm (8½") deep.

The movement has been fully serviced and is in excellent running order.

The price includes insured delivery to anywhere in the mainland UK. If you require delivery elsewhere we are happy to provide quotes for a fully insured door to door service.
