Sheraton Revival emerged in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, reinterpreting the late eighteenth-century designs of Thomas Sheraton. The style is characterised by neoclassical proportions, slim tapered legs, geometric symmetry, and extensive decorative marquetry or line inlay using contrasting timber veneers.
