This is a large, wonderful, mid-19th-century Oil on Canvas Portrait Painting depicting a young, pretty brunette female who is standing within an extensive landscape setting, with a fresh water jug and a small yellow flower in one hand.
It is a beautifully painted scene with excellent attention to detail to both the surrounding woodland and the ladies' facial features.
Mounted within the original 19th-century, heavily scrolled gesso frame.

The period frame is very presentable, but there are many small areas of repair to parts of the gesso mouldings - see images.
