A wonderful antique Heriz carpet, hand woven circa 1920. The design features an unusual geometrical central medallion surrounded by stylised flowers and vines on a rich terracotta field and indigo border. A very decorative carpet with great secondary colours of pinks, greens, golds and blues

This rug is in good condition with light, age related wear, very slightly heavier on the main field (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
