Early 19th century swedish hand painted cupboard circa 1804.

Beautiful example of swedish hand painted furniture using the kurbit method of applying paint.  base brown colour with muted greens and oranges coming through, with a contrasting green/blue interior.

Main 1 piece body with the cornice held in place by pegs, which itself bares the hand painted date of 1804.

Upper double door cupboard with original working lock and key opens to reveal a interior of 2 shelves, this also allows access to the 2 concealed drawers for further storage.  lower section with deep canted corners allows access to a single shelf behind the single door cupboard which opens on the same key.  all raised on 6 bun feet.

Expected very minor losses and fading to woodwork.  all original bar 1 small area of replaced backboard and 2 new pegs to fix the cornice in place.  stunning piece of furniture and ready for everyday use.
