Mizpah is a Hebrew word that means 'watchtower' and is interpreted as 'May God watch over you.

The inside of the band is stamped with a full set of British hallmarks for 18ct gold, Chester 1887, with the maker's mark B.H.J, which adds to the ring's authenticity, value and charm.
