Description

This beautiful antique perfume bottle which is made of cut glass has a solid silver & tortoiseshell hinged top and is by quality silversmith Henry Matthews.

This globular scent bottle is fully hallmarked for 1921, has a slight tint to the glass and a cork stopper.

A fine quality antique bottle which is in beautiful condition, feels heavy in the hand and looks wonderful on display.

Would make a lovely gift.

Material: Glass. Solid Silver. Tortoiseshell.

Date: 1921.

Maker: Henry Matthews.

Hallmarks: Fully hallmarked for silver, Lion for Sterling silver, Anchor for Birmingham, makers mark HM for Henry Matthews. Date letter W for 1921.

Dimensions: Diameter: 10 cm (4"). Height: 12 cm (4 3/4").

Total weight: 408 g.

Condition: Excellent used antique condition with light signs of use in keeping with age. Glass is in very good condition with just a few tiny nibbles. Please see pictures.
