Description

This oil painting of a Victorian gentleman sporting an impressive white beard has been skilfully painted during the 19th century using oils on canvas and is mounted in a gilt gesso ornate frame.

This handsome 19th century bearded man portrait is a good size at 59 cm high and looks wonderful on display.

Medium: Oil Painting on canvas. Framed in gilt gesso frame.

Date: 19th century.

Dimensions of frame: Width: 51 cm (20"). Height: 59 cm (23").

Dimensions of painting: Width: 34 cm (13 1/2"). Height: 42 cm (16 1/2").

Weight: 3 kg.

Condition: Very good antique condition with signs of use in keeping with age. Artwork has some crazing, small marks and a few touch ups. Frame has some chips, cracks, wear and marks. Please see pictures.

Please note that only the framed painting is included and any other items in the pictures are for scale only.
