Antique Victorian Large Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Description

Large Victorian mahogany chest of drawers with lovely flame figuring across the drawer fronts. The arrangement comprises three small drawers over two short drawers and three long graduated drawers below. Fitted with turned wooden knobs and flanked by turned front pillars, giving it a smart and well-balanced look. A handsome and useful 19th-century piece with good colour and presence.

CONDITION REPORT:

General age-related wear is present throughout, including marks, scratches and staining to the top. There is a historic repair to the right-hand side and some damage to the back right corner. There is some fading to the left-hand side, along with some loss to the back of the base. Overall, the piece remains solid and presentable, with wear consistent with age and use.
