Flame veneered arched top glazed door to the front and matching door to the rear. Original painted dial with Roman numerals and blued steel hands with subsidiary dial to the top to set the alarm. Single fusee movement with original verge escapement and secondary drive for operating the alarm, the backplate engraved with the makers name Thomas Percival (recorded as making clocks in Bond St, London in the late 18th century and making chronometers until 1808). Presented in superb original condition with original dial paintwork, the movement fully overhauled and working.
