Victorian Mahogany Glazed Secretaire Bookcase

A fine Victorian mahogany glazed secretaire bookcase, raised upon a plinth base.

The lower section features a pair of cupboard doors with elegant arched panels. Above, the secretaire drawer front opens to reveal a well-fitted interior, comprising an arrangement of small drawers and pigeon holes, providing both practical and attractive storage.

The upper section is enclosed by glazed doors, opening to reveal three fully adjustable shelves, ideal for books or display.

The piece is finished with a shaped cornice, adding to its classic Victorian character and well-balanced proportions.
