The above impressive piece weighs 4.1 kg, and it is of a beautiful patina.
It dates to the 19th-century Victorian period.
The sculpture portrays Rembrandt standing upon a circular wooden base in deep thought whilst holding a large book in one arm.
He is dressed in the typical Baroque clothing of the era, with an elegant cloak and posh shoes.
To all intents and purposes, the piece has the appearance of a very expensive bronze.
It is a beautiful sculpture that displays well wherever it is placed.
