Jeff Sims Antiques has dated this Georgian Etched Gin Glass to the 18th Century.
The glass has wrythen petal moulding to the lower part of the bowl, knop and foot collar. The foot has a broken pontil mark. With today's fashion for flavoured Gins that are often drunk without mixers, this is the perfect glass. A charming example of good collector's piece, with a practical use 230 years on.
