The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this Antique Elgin Pocket Watch to the 1910s.
The watch has a grade 291 stem-winding movement which is working nicely. The movement is fully signed and it has the serial number 20,570,335 which dates it back to 1918.

The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop. The case is gold filled and is the Montauk model supplied to Elgin by the Fahys Watch Case Company. The case is in nice condition with just a small “ding” to the back, nothing too serious at all. The case has a screw on front and back.

The glass lens is in good condition (some white natural light reflection showing in the photos).
The signed dial looks good to the naked eye.
Blued steel hands, a subsidiary seconds dial and an outer minute track with red 5 minute markers.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
