This is an antique coopered stick loop. An English, oak and copper country house umbrella stand, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Pleasingly substantial country house stand, of good height and perfect for entrance hall

Displaying a desirable aged patina and in good original order

Select oak staves tightly coopered and showing fine grain interest

Abundance of medullary rays catch the light throughout

Tightly bound, holding the long antique staves securely

Copper banding presents warm amber, reflective hues

Tapering slightly along its form and standing upon a stout circular foot

This is a superb antique coopered stick loop, ideal for large umbrellas or a selection of canes and walking sticks in a reception hall. Solid joints and construction, delivered ready for the home or institution.
