Beautiful antique amethyst stud earrings with the gemstones set into crown-shaped silver settings above solid gold posts and fittings.

• Condition: Excellent antique condition.

• Fixing: Threaded posts and screw-on butterflies.

• Hallmarks: None, the earrings test as 15-carat gold and sterling silver.

• Era: Estimated late Victorian/Edwardian (c.late 1800s-1914).

• Size: 6mm diameter. The face of the amethyst sits around 5mm above the ear.
