Gillers Antiques Ltd has dated this Barr Flight Barr Plate to the Georgian era.
The form reflects Worcester models established in the 1765–1775 decade and continued into the Barr, Flight & Barr period. The pattern, derived from Chinese Kangxi prototypes, was introduced at Worcester around 1765–1768 and remained one of the factory’s most recognisable chinoiserie designs into the nineteenth century.
The underside bears a faint crowned BFB mark, dating the plate to circa 1807–1813.
Two original “Flight Collection” labels remain affixed to the base. These relate to the Worcester collection formed by Howard Emerson Flight — Lord Flight — direct descendant of Thomas Flight, who acquired the factory in 1783. Portions of this focused Flight, Barr & Barr collection were later dispersed through Bonhams and Toovey’s, and pieces retaining such labels are recognised as having direct family provenance connected with the manufactory.

Excellent condition. No breaks and no restorations. The paintwork is very well preserved.
