Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Barr, Flight & Barr refers to a specific operational period (18071813) of the famous Worcester porcelain manufactory in England. During this era, the factory produced high-end porcelain featuring elaborate hand-painted decoration, rich gilding, and neoclassical iconography under royal patronage.

Regency ceramics were typically made from soft-paste or hybrid hard-paste porcelain bodies. Decoration involved multi-stage firing, including hand-enamelling by specialised botanical or natural history painters and the application of mercury gilding burnished to a high sheen.

Authentic pieces usually feature impressed factory marks, such as BFB beneath a royal crown, or painted script marks on the underside. Additionally, pieces from this period exhibit exceptional quality in the gilding, precise painted details, and characteristic soft porcelain glaze.

Antique porcelain cabinet plates can be mounted on display stands on sideboards, arranged within glass display cabinets, or secured to walls using wire hangers to create a curated gallery wall in dining rooms or foyers.

Clean antique porcelain gently using lukewarm water and a mild detergent with a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive sponges, chemical solvents, and dishwashers, as these will wear away the delicate overglaze enamel painting and hand gilding.
