Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian display cabinets were produced between 1901 and 1910 and are defined by light, elegant proportions compared to earlier Victorian furniture. They frequently feature mahogany construction, glazed doors, delicate inlay, and tapered legs.

These pieces were predominantly constructed from mahogany, satinwood, or rosewood, often featuring hand-cut float glass panels and brass hardware. Interiors were frequently lined with woven fabric such as silk or damask to cushion ceramic displays.

Authentic pieces exhibit early 20th-century joinery techniques, such as hand-cut dovetails on interior framework, brass lever locks, subtle wood grain variations, and slight irregularities in antique float glass.

Position the cabinet against a neutral wall in a dining room, hallway, or living area to showcase curated ceramics, glassware, or art objects. Modern lighting or minimalist decorative objects inside create a balanced contrast between historical timber and contemporary design.

Keep timber surfaces away from direct sunlight and heat sources to prevent cracking and veneer lifting. Dust regularly with a soft cloth and apply a natural beeswax polish occasionally along the wood grain.
