A Superb Edwardian Cased Pocket Barometer

A wonderful Edwardian brass pocket barometer and altimeter in the original case. This excellent example has an unusual moveable marker for setting the altitude. The laquered casing has an attaching ring to the top for use with a fob chain if required and the glass is bevelled. The hinged cased is finished in faux leather and has a silk and plush velvet lining. A superb example, both practical and collectible. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent. In full, clean working order, with no damage or losses to the casing, glass face or box. There one small 'dig' to the edge, which does not affect use and is commensurate with age and use.
