Arundel Clocks has dated this Antique Mahogany Bracket Clock to the 1880s.
I have for sale a beautiful 1880s German ting tang quarter striking bracket clock made by W&H which has had a good life the case is in great condition .
The Case
The case is in solid mahogany in the four glass style , she has been well waxed over the years and stands 28cm high x 26cm wide with a depth of 20cm the case is in great condition , thick glass front door keeps the beautiful face in great condition.

The Dial
The dial is in original condition silvered with Roman numerals and black ornate hands all totally original to this clock, with the slow/fast running dial and the chime/silent dial, all housed in a silvered mask.

The Movement
The movement is an eight day time and strike which strikes the quarter hours and halves and the three quarters on two large gongs to the rear, the movement is signed by the maker on the rear plate, this movement was serviced about six months ago and keeps great time over the eight days.The movement has thick heavy plates a real quality movement signed on the back plate.

Overall a very rare clock case style that looks great on display keeping great time and looking and sounding even better, the clock is heavy so postage will cost a bit sorry but collection or possible delivery is available.
