Rare 19th C French Enamelled Amber Glass Trinket Box , Circa 1890

Description

This gorgeous and unusual trinket box originates from France and dates circa 1890. The brass bound hinged pale amber glass lid charmingly decorated with yellow enamel foliate sprays. The sides heightened with a conforming floral garland. Amber glass trinket boxes are few and far between.

Diameter: 5cm / 2 inches.

Height: 2.5cm / 1.2 inch.
