Robert Belcher Antiques has dated this Antique Oil Landscape Painting to the 1900s.

The painting is in excellent original condition, and it displays well with its original bevelled mount with a finely written pen and ink title and artists name.
The painting is completed with its original Art Nouveau foliate gesso frame.

The painting is fully signed, Stanley Leader, in the bottom left corner.
Stanley Leader was a British artist, well accomplished and quite prolific.
He mainly painted landscapes and pastoral scenes, working between 1880 and 1920.

He has two prominent works in oil on display at the museum gallery, Oldham. One is entitled “On the Llede” and the other “The Falls at Turnbill”
Seascapes are rare by this artist. This one is a lovely, well detailed bright painting in very good original condition.
The painting has been painted on a stretchered canvas, signed Reeves of London.
