Georgian Mahogany Bachelors Chest

Description

A wonderful Georgian bachelor’s chest of neat proportion and in excellent antique condition. It features a pull-out brushing slide stamped R Cooper Faversham, above four graduated drawers, each retaining its original brass oval handles. As with all genuine period pieces, there are minor imperfections, but this is a solid little chest with a rich, warm patina. Standing on shaped bracket feet, it is a beautifully made and well-preserved example of Georgian furniture, practical in scale and full of period charm.
