The solid oak frame has matured to a beautiful mellow honey tone and is complemented by newly upholstered, rich black leather of excellent quality, providing both comfort and durability while enhancing the chair’s elegant lines.

Well-proportioned and sturdy.
The maker’s stamp is present beneath the chair: W. Williamson & Sons, Guildford. The firm, active circa 1790–1840 in Surrey, was highly regarded for its craftsmanship, producing furniture in the late George III and Regency taste.
