Pure Wool Rug

A Persian pure wool 'Zanjan' rug from Western area of Persia in superb unworn condition and cleaned ready for use c.1930. The close hand knotted pile with a diamond shaped motif to the centre in a soft red and blue ground, which is surrounded by a soft red band with complementing geometric and floral decoration. Dark and navy blue ground infills to the corners complete the central section of the rug. Soft red broad border to the rug edge with complementing geometric repeat pattern in tones of fawn, soft blue and terracotta to complement the centre of the rug. Smaller items are shipped by Royal Mail Special Delivery, which includes insurance for the item whilst in transit and a guaranteed tracked delivery.

EUROPE AND WORLDWIDE

Through our trusted international shippers we will source the most competitive quote for delivery to your door. All items are wrapped and packed by the specialist shippers.

We are happy to make initial arrangements for worldwide shipments on your behalf. However, please note that the shipping payment is made by you the customer directly with the shippers. The shipping contract is therefore between you the customer and the shippers (not Sturmans Antiques).
