A Sampson Morden Victorian Kate Greenaway Silver Scent Bottle

A superb Victorian all silver scent bottle, by the great Sampson Morden. The body is cylindrical and has exquisite engraved detail of childern in a rural setting, in the style of Kate Greenaway. The matching lid is lightly domed and has floral and foliar engraving, opening to reveal a gilded interior. The silver body and hinged lid, encase a glass liner and the original peg stopper. A lovely collector's piece, both decorative and usable. Dimensions below.
