Superb Victorian Brass Letter and Ink Stand

A superb quality Victorian solid brass letter and ink stand with the original glass ink well c.1880. The cast brass stand with letter rack to the rear and internal divisions to separate envelopes and paper. Shaped base section with floral scroll design decoration to match the letter section. Ink well set to the front in clear blown crystal with decorative cranberry coloured bobbles sat around the central outer section of the well and brass hinged lid to the top. Excellent detail throughout and presented in immaculate condition with perfect crystal ware. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques.
