A fine George III mahogany chest on chest of elegant proportions, dating to the late 18th century. Constructed in well-figured mahogany, the piece is arranged with two short and three long graduated drawers to the upper section, over a further three long drawers to the base. Each drawer is fitted with period-style brass swan neck handles and matching escutcheons.

The chest is finished with a moulded cornice, fluted canted corners, and stands on shaped bracket feet. The mahogany displays a rich, warm colour with attractive grain throughout, enhanced by a pleasing patina developed over time. A well-balanced and practical piece, offering generous storage while retaining refined Georgian elegance, suitable for both traditional and classic contemporary interiors.
