Superb Small Proportioned George II Oak Open Pot Board Dresser

A superb quality small proportioned George II period figured oak three drawer open pot board dresser with wonderful mellow colour and original patina c.1740. Planked top sat over a three drawer base with panelled ends to match the drawer fronts. The drawers sat in a pegged jointed frame; each drawer with figured timbers and moulded edges, plus decorative brass fittings. Moulded rail sat below the drawers with three turned column supports above a planked open pot board. Original stiles below the base rail forming the feet. Superb original mellow colour and rich patina throughout, presented in excellent original unrestored condition. Keep up to date via Instagram - sturmansantiques.
