Description

A lovely antique Ferahan rug, woven circa 1910. This rug features an all over geometrical design of stylised flowers and vines on a terracotta field and indigo border. Finely woven with great secondary colours, particularly the green in the minor border.

Size: 1.96m x 1.36m (6ft 5in x 4ft 6in)

This rug is in good condition with all over medium wear. A few small repairs, particularly in the corners and a small one in the centre (see photos). Fringes and selvedges are secure and it has been professionally cleaned.
