AC Silver has dated this Georgian Gold Pearl Necklace to the 1800s.

This double stranded necklace is comprised of two graduating length circular curb style chains, with each link bearing a textured finish.
The necklace secures with a rectangular push fit clasp.
The anterior surface of the clasp is embellished with twelve impressive seed pearls, framed with an impressive black enamel border.

The centre of the clasp bears a woven hair panel, encompassed with further black enamel.
The reverse of the clasp bears the contemporary engraved initials 'IEW'.
This magnificent 1800's antique chain and clasp have been independently tested using state of the art technology (Niton XL2 Analyzer) and verified as 18 and 15 carat gold.
