Bushells Antiques has dated this Chaumet Pearl Horse Necklace to the 1960s.
This bespoke choker necklace combines classical elegance with equestrian-inspired artistry, showcasing the brand’s hallmark attention to detail and Parisian refinement.

The necklace features a single row of 54 cultured pearls, each approximately 7mm, individually knotted and arranged in a graceful length necklet. The standout element is the bold 27.5mm round clasp, crafted in 18kt yellow gold, bearing the Chaumet signature and 750 stamp.

At its centre lies a finely carved pink tourmaline cameo depicting a horse’s head, a rare and elegant motif. The clasp is further elevated by a pavé-set diamond surround, comprising 61 brilliant-cut diamonds (three sections of 21, 21, and 19), each approximately 0.01ct, totalling an estimated 0.61ct.
