Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.
Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Art Deco ring design from the 1920s is defined by geometric symmetry, clean lines, and the widespread use of platinum. Jewelers during this era favored step-cut diamonds, such as Asscher and emerald cuts, frequently accented with baguette side stones.

Platinum was the primary metal of choice during the Art Deco period due to its strength and ability to create intricate, lightweight settings. Diamonds and geometric accent gemstones were mounted using claw or bezel settings to emphasize structure.

Authentic Art Deco rings typically feature hand-cut step-cut diamonds, period-correct platinum hallmarks, and precise geometric shoulder work. Independent laboratory certification, such as a GIA report, verifies stone authenticity and cut grading.

The understated geometric lines of an Art Deco ring complement both minimal contemporary tailoring and elegant evening wear. Its crisp platinum setting enables seamless pairing alongside modern white gold or platinum bands.

Clean platinum and diamond rings using lukewarm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled brush to remove dust behind settings. Store the piece in a fabric-lined jewellery box separated from other items to prevent scratching.
