Salisbury Antiques Centre has dated this George II Mahogany Tallboy to the 1750s.

The case is flanked by reeded quarter columns with gilt brass capitals and bases, and finished with a well-moulded cornice. The piece is raised on shaped ogee bracket feet, typical of the period.
The mahogany displays a rich, warm patina with attractive grain, particularly to the drawer fronts. Drawer linings are oak, with traditional dovetail construction evident. Overall, a well-preserved and elegant example of Georgian domestic furniture.
