This lovely bed is brimming with detail and has lovely shaping to the head and foot end.
Really nicely detailed finals sit atop each of the posts.
The siderails and the bottom of the foot end panel have further interlocking floral and geometric shaping adding to this impressive beds overall attraction.
We have lovingly restored this bed, repairing where needed, cleaning and generally restoring to be a beautiful and practical heirloom piece. There are some remnants and signs of the beds previous life having been upholstered, however we have re-finished to blend in and restore to it’s natural/original form.

Truly a very handsome bed indeed, which we have cleaned and restored to ensure a solid and sturdy bed. This bed happily takes a UK modern King size mattress 150cm x 200cm / 5’ x 6’6”
Whole bed has been checked and sympathetically restored to ensure solid, sturdy construction and good assembly.
Price includes wood slats (sorry not mattress). As an alternative to the wood slats we can supply mini box bases for superior mattress support and to raise the get into bed height.
