This is a pair of antique side chairs. An Oriental, lacquered elbow seat with cane squabs, dating to the Victorian period, circa 1880. Attractive and well-proportioned, these chairs delight with their rich lacquer finish and elegant form.

Striking Oriental craftsmanship, graced with wonderful colour and aesthetic appeal

Resplendent in russet lacquer, exhibiting a pleasing depth of tone and aged lustre

Serpentine crest rail and shaped back splat contrast beautifully with the square lower section
