Oliver Sargent Antiques has dated this Antique Silver Pocket Watch to the 1910s.
For sale: a fine and rare large Goliath solid silver pocket watch, retailed by H.W. Bedford of Regent Street, London, and fitted with a gilt metal movement signed Atlas.
The substantial Goliath (70mm) case is crafted from 0.935 solid silver, a higher-grade silver than the standard 0.800 or 0.925 sterling. Made in Switzerland circa 1910, the watch remains in excellent overall condition.

The striking black enamel dial showcases bold white Roman numerals with outer minute divisions, complemented by white painted hands and protected by a highly beveled glass crystal—all in excellent condition.

The pin-set, keyless-wind movement features blued screws and is signed:
“The Atlas Watch, Manufactured in Switzerland.”
Recently serviced, the movement runs very well. The high-grade silver case has a smooth polished finish, with both the inner cover and cuvette stamped with silver hallmarks (0.935) and numbered 629829.
