Pair Red & White Staffordshire Dogs C1860

Description

This charming PAIR OF VICTORIAN STAFFORDSHIRE RED AND WHITE DOGS date from circa 1860.

They have characterful, expressive faces, heart-shaped patches to the front and gilt collars and padlocks.

The DOGS are in good condition with no restoration. There is an underglaze chip to the back paw of the Right side Dog which has occurred during the making, and some tiny nicks to the base. None of these are visible from the front,

These are a lovely PAIR OF STAFFORDSHIRE DOGS which have been decoratd with thought and skill.
