Description

A fine and beautiful distressed antique Kirman carpet, a delicate floral design with soft pinks and blues. An incredibly decorative and interesting carpet, the detailing is exquisite all woven by hand around 120 years ago.

Condition is distressed and heavily worn, the carpet has a wonderful distressed look, although worn it is secure and in good order.  The carpet has also been thoroughly cleaned, and the ends and selvedges have been checked and bound as necessary.

Farnham Antique Carpets are specialists in antique decorative carpets, rugs and runners. Varying from antique tribal rugs woven in the Caucasus to classical Persian carpets dating from the mid 19th century to the early 20th century.
