Description

A Charles I oak coffer , the panelled lid above an arcaded front with shaped carved brackets above the feet. Good colour and patina, country house condition, with historic shrinkage cracks to some panels and replacement hinges on the lid , these faults outweighed by the excellent carving. English Circa 1640.
