A Stunning Art Deco Sapphire Blue Cut Glass Vase Circa 1930

This remarkable vase dates to circa 1930. It has a circular, facetted foot above a heavy, solid glass base with ten scalloped sides around its circumference. The conical shaped vase rises elegantly straight up to the rim and is decorated with an amazing foliate wild scrolling pattern, finely cut with great precision. The key element to this beautiful vase is its most unusual colour and tone, which can only be described as a breathtaking sapphire which we have never seen before.
