The stone is surrounded by 18 rose cut diamonds in yellow gold cut-down settings, and a further six (three each side) rose cuts set in the shoulders, leading to a slender, slightly knife-edge shank.

Accompanied by a sapphire report from The Gem & Pearl Laboratory stating the sapphire shows no evidence of heating.
Cut: Oval cut sapphire and rose cut diamonds.
Colour: The diamonds range from I to J.
Clarity: The sapphire is eye-clean. The diamonds range from SI1 to SI2.

Carat: The sapphire is 2.02 carat. The total approximate diamond weight is 0.24 carat.
Circa: 1900.

Measurements: The sapphire is approximately 8.5 x 6.2. The head of the ring is 12.7 x 10.7mm and sits 4mm from the finger.
