Superb 17th Century Alms Dish

A superb 17th Century brass alms dish with embossed sunflower decoration c.1690. Formed as a dish with flat rim to the outer edge and polished engraved decoration, the hand formed interior with an embossed stylised sunflower to the base. Superb patination and original colour to the exterior with a later applied hanging loop to the back to allow wall hanging. Superb condition with no damage or wear and a rich polish.
