Description

A very large handsome english oak partners desk.Constructed of solid oak using quartersawn for its fine figuring.All the sides are panelled and looks attractive from all angles. It has a good honey colour and has its original finish.Each pedestal has a cupboard one side and a bank of drawers on the other which can be configurated to your requirements with the top carrying three drawers either side.The handles are solid brass and campaign in style.All the drawers run smoothly and constructed with very fine dovetails.The kneehole is a very generous and spacious and can be raised if needed.The top has a very high quality hide insert It carries a very good colour and has generous decorative blind tooling. A very good looking practical desk with plenty of history and character.
