Mid Victorian Carved Oak Refectory Table

Description

This is a solid oak mid Victorian refectory table, It is structurally sound with a traditional mortise & tenon pegged constructed base. The thick quality oak top is constructed of 3 wide planks with slight historic related shakes due its age. The planks have a tight grain and is complemented by the medium brown patina of the oak. The base is adorned with a pair of hand carved scrolled corbels around all 4 sides totally 8 and 4 balustrade legs. The legs have signs of wear with slight shakes expected with age which doesn’t affect the sturdiness of the table at all.
