A beautiful small solid oak refectory style dining table, crafted in the traditional English manner and inspired by classic 17th and 18th century English refectory furniture.

Featuring a substantial solid oak rectangular top with distinctive incuse corners, beautifully turned cup-and-cover pedestal supports, traditional sledge feet and a sturdy centre stretcher, this is a wonderfully made piece combining timeless country house character with everyday practicality.

The thick solid oak top (approximately 35–40mm) displays exceptional natural grain and a beautiful warm golden oak colour, giving the table a rich and inviting appearance. The traditional craftsmanship and elegant proportions make it equally suited to a dining room, kitchen, breakfast room or country-style interior.

The table is freestanding and fully finished on all sides, allowing it to be positioned beautifully within a room rather than only against a wall.

Presented in excellent vintage condition, the table is structurally sound throughout with no loose joints and no evidence of woodworm. It has been professionally cleaned and waxed, leaving a lovely mellow finish and making it ready for immediate use.
