Pair Antique George Lll Style Leather Chesterfield Wing Armchairs

1920 - 1940
Description

Superb pair brown leather wingback armchairs with buttoned back and seats in the Georgian style but dating probably from the 1930's.

They're in excellent condition and they stand on square mahogany legs, with cross stretchers, and have a high back that extends to 43" and the distance across the arms is 34", so a substantial pair of armchairs.

The height to the seat is 18".

All the buttons are in place and strong and there is no damage to the leather, just that beautiful lived-in look you get with antique leather.

I have owned these chairs for some 25 years and I've loved sitting in them, but now it's time for them to go.
