Edwardian Gilt Brass Desk Lamp

A decorative Edwardian embossed and gilded brass adjustable desk lamp, cleaned and rewired ready for use c.1910. Weighted cast base with reeded decoration rising to meet the arched arm with acanthus leaf design decoration to the top. The angle of the arm adjustable on a ratchet at the base and the embossed tubular shade to the top is adjustable on a ball joint. Solid brass throughout with the original gilt finish requiring no polishing. Cleaned and rewired ready for use with silk covered flex inline switch and fitted plug. Presented in excellent condition.
